Car-
We painted empty juice boxes by mixing glue with some paint- otherwise, the paint will chip off. Then, we used the ends of spools of thread to stamp wheels onto circular papers.
Plane-
We painted paper towel rolls. You can add mosaic squares for windows and alphabet stickers to create an airline. Next, slit through the center of the roll about 2 inches wide. Cut a piece of card stock to resemble the wings and slide through the slit. I stuffed the hole at the front of the plane with a giant pom pom, placing glue a log the perimeter of the tube to make it stick.
Boat-
The kids colored one side of a sheet of paper with crayons, and used do-a-dot markers on the other side. Then, I folded a paper boat, and then unfolded it so that the creases would remain in the paper. One at a time, I worked with the kids to refold the boat!
The mobiles came out adorable! Here are a couple pictures, and I'll have to post more tomorrow when I bring my camera home (I forgot it today)
